Anita and the Yanks is an Irish rock band that has been performing in and around Los Angeles since 2008. A unique blend of traditional and modern alternative rock where Irish influenced melodies float over modern grooves and ambient strings with clever lyrics and innovative musicianship.
Irish born songbird Anita Mansfield pulls at your heartstrings with her lyrics and vocal melodies while playing guitar. Bryan Dobbs' mandolin countermelodies and beautiful harmonies support while Rachel Grace's violin explodes over the top of some of the finest rhythm machines, Ryan Dean on drums & Jimmy Murphy on Bass.
